The translation project comprises a translation and analysis of the fourth chapter of Harmony Bench’s book Perpetual Motion: Dance, Digital Cultures, and the Common. The translation project is divided into two sections: the first section is devoted to the translation of the book, and the second consists of a translation analysis. When translating Harmony Bench’s book, we adhered to the lexical, stylistic, and grammatical norms of the target language, as well as applying a number of translation techniques to preserve the popular science genre and author’s style. The second section of the study analyses the specific challenges associated with translating terms, sentences containing quotations, and the translation techniques employed. It also examines the difficulties that arise when working with texts that are rich in terms and intertext.

Перекладацький проект складається з перекладу та аналізу четвертого розділу книги Гармоні Бенч «Perpetual Motion: Dance, Digital Cultures, and the Common». Перекладацький проєкт містить в собі два розділи: перший розділ присвячений перекладу книги, а другий складається з перекладацького аналізу. Під час перекладу книги Гармоні Бенч дотримано лексичних, стилістичних та граматичних норм мови перекладу, а також застосовано певний ряд технік перекладу, з метою збереження науково-популярного та авторського стилю. У другому розділі проаналізовано особливості перекладу термінів, речень, які містять в собі цитати, та застосовані техніки перекладу, а також труднощі, які виникають під час роботи з текстами, насиченими термінами та інтертекстом.
